Hmm let's see now.. Few tiny things happened today.
First thing in the morning after the long shower and breakfast and 2 large mugs of morning beverages I happily sat down to read my emails before school. And learned that I've lost already 3rd commission I worked hard on (uh.. kinda hard anyway) - well, this time the client actually told me why, instead of cutting off all contact when the job was done: the acrylics double portrait of 2 tiny girls i did looked like the wrong girls. The tone of the email was pretty harsh too. Or at least it felt so when it pinched my already half-flaccid little ego.
At first I felt pretty depressed but after the first lesson at school, when my head had cooled off I decided to man up and do the job again. I can't have myself painting unrecognizable people! I mean.. painting portraits from photos is the most retardededest simplest thing there can be for a painter! I'm gonna paint those little pumpkins again and be good at it!
I obviously need more light in this room for that...
I actually got the first well-lit glimpse at the painting when I had brought it to Photopoint for a quick shoot. And saw all the microhairs in paint and odd colours I never saw in my murky livingroom. But that's that. I'll get a lamp.

An hour after sending the email and getting the clients positive and much lighter-toned answer I got a phonecall telling me I've won a 2500 EEK worth gift card to a beauty salon in Tallinn. I'd already forgot I took part in this ..uh.. washing powder consumer contest. Yay! ..? It's kinda cool but I don't know How cool Really since I've never been to such a place. mmm. Well winning stuff is cool anyway. Maybe I'll get a new funky haircut? err.. I wonder if they do that temporary make-up tattoo thing. That would actually last for a while and be kinda fun.. In a ..tattoed on make-up kinda way..iijjjyea.
I don't know.. I could also just get a ton of fancy salon products and pamper self at home :3 hehe

But the greatest win of all iiiiis.. That I finally really actually totally get a new Tablet!

Nnnn I'll have it either on Friday or Monday. I feel like I'm going to be reborn on that day. A new spring in my life. A new me...
