Feb!

Oh look, a month went by again!

Well then. Where to start...

Exhibitions!
The Kuressaare Castle thing is probably off, at least for this summer, because of some ..lets say.. communication difficulties (not mine!). But! I may have a cool cozy plan b for a fancy summer show afterall.
Also I'm likely putting up a solo exhibition at a cafe in Tartu next week, probably no opening or anything, just found a place where to stock my works for 1,5-2 months. Still waiting for the cafe guy to call me but it should be certain.  hmm.
 Gen club is open for my works once again, they really seem to like them so I just might try to put together a new set for a new show there, with a fancy fingerfood opening and posters and all in April.
All should be confirmed by next week.

Diploma work!
The triptych idea evolved a little, into a pentaptych (pentaptühhon, nagu!) altarpiece in mixed techniques. Well.. not a Real altarpiece.. as in not related to any religion..but not that atheist either. And it might integrate some doll house  elements and be pretty playful in its creepy cute holy scary festive gothic weird sacred epic way. Well.. the future will show.  It will be neat. Bitches haven't seen such a fancy ass piece in technique so mixed! Gonna brush up on my gilding and collage techniques with help from Mall Nukke who happens to be my thesis supervisor (yisssss!).
Heh, am pretty stoked.


In other news..
Few weeks ago I, being fiercely furious, stormed my hand through a door glass (not on purpose this time, i was just storming off to the other room and pushing the door too abruptly) resulting in me getting 6 stitches on my right hand thumb. A bit of flesh came out so when it was freshly stitched it looked like a piece of porolone sewn tightly around a stiff pole (the doctor was all like, why is it so wide, wat, theres not enough skin, wheres the rest, definitely something missing here, can't get the edges to meet, ugh). I was hoping the scar would keep this hellweinesque aesthetic but it already looks pretty normal. Well it left a nice little scar anyway.

Recently I happened to visit the ER once again. Had some weird dizziness and inability to type anything beyond gibberish (no, i mean -actual- gibberish) or even understand my phone functions and then collapsing on the ground and crap but the docs didn't find anything wrong with me. Had a killer headache the next day and by now i feel pretty ok. Gonna take it easy for a while tho, shit's spooky ._.

So yea. I'm taking it easy, reading about saints and romanesque art and manga and organizing cartoon nights and sketching a little. Sleeping a lot. Should clean this place up, now that both of my hands function ok..
But first I'm gonna go to bookstore and have a cafe lunch somewhere. Haven't been out for days and theres no food around. Out of cat litter too..
