I was stuck at saaremaa beerfest & bikefest on Friday and Saturday, selling my dads T-shirts on the beerfest platz.
Watching people, chatting with them and handing out merchandise while drinking beer nonstop could have been kinda fun if it werent for the constant noise from at least 3 different location. Random drinking songs and goddamn meie mees. And so on. Eesh.
On friday i got to tent 4 in the morning after drinking vodka with bikers for 2 hours.
Pretty impossible to sleep while ppl were making their bikes roar just for lulz..
At 9 am I woke on someone yelling into microphone about coffee and soup. The heat was unbearable.
And then I went back to my shirtsellage from 12-01 with Olesja.
At the end of the day I seriously was convinced that this was the worst event I've ever been to.
I have been to the beerfest when I was underaged but then Everywhere was interesting (except home/school).
Thanks to Lesja's looks we had a lot of "friends" hopping by, playing cards with us, buying us things and beer and later at night trying to help us sell shirts.
I guess it helped with boredum but at the end of the second day every other person was like HAI GURLZ with a glassy idiotic stare and trying to make conversation out of nothing. It suddenly seemed that the main body of festguest was made of ossmales, each of them wanting to score at least one pussy before the night ends. Most of them had drank till the last of their brainmatter had dissapeared and decorated themselves from head to toe with twinkling jägermeister drinking awards and such.
The last few hours were so unbelievably exchausted and I could not stop being bitterly amazed at what I was seeing.
Just before leaving for town, I and Less just sat down on a bench in a dark spot looking as drained and angry as we could (with no real effort) and still we had to send annoying testofilled drunkards away one group after another.
And finally.. Home. Olesja was so amazing to score us a ride back to town with the red cross van.
Dunno if I wanna go back there next year. But I probably will if my parents ask me to. Shirt sales were so below crappy this year and I feel need to make up to it next year n_n
And there were a few good things to it i think... Like Talsi Brass Bands flag girls. HOT DAMN I wanna be a flaggirl. Or atleast get a similar outfit somewhere.
I found a crappy video with the same getup and I had no idea there were so many girls. At the beerfest tehre were only 4 of them.
But yea.. that was basically the only highlight of the 2-day event. Biker's contests were cool also, but I couln't see much of them since I was selling shirts at the other end of the platz.
