I just realised that i do have something to show.
A few commissions I haven't uploaded here yet and also I've editorially designed 2 issues of Pilkaja in that time.
It's not much nor amazing but I'll just gather them all here with short comments nonetheless.

Here's amaterasu I made for another Flyff forum commision, for the same person I made the princess Haruhi. Never got paid for either of them. I've given up Flyff comissions for now. Unless they wanna pay me real money in advance on ummis paypal account.
An art trade at Flyff forums, took forever to do because I was so bored of all that.
Photo ref'd digital portrait commission. Everything worked out fine with that one.
Acrylics commission.
Digital combined photos commish for Pirkkos sister. I like the outcome. So did she i think.

These three images are made for the same peson who ordered the baby pic. She never was satisfied with the bloke's face, sent new photos of him and i painted and painted.. and now she hasnt replied my last email. I guess I'll call that a failed commission then. feh.

2 issues of Pilkaja, May and June. I think the mag is getting a tad better wiht each issue but is still lacking a lot in my opinion. a lot of it is upto me, so I'll just try to keep on pushing the level of niceness till we succeed or fail miserably.

Yup, all for now. Still have 2 images in progress, one acrylic painting that has been needing redoing al much as the last one.. I'm really getting discouraged on the photo refd acrylic portraits of strangers thing. A huge part of me wants to just quit taking those commissions for good and another part of me will probably still convince me to take them, in hopes of getting better at this so that things would just turn out to be easy and okay. I mean how hard can it really be to copy a goddamn photo! It's not. But when you make a mistake in there somewhere, without even realising it (they've sent you a dissimilar photo in the first place) it's really hard to get the customer to like it in the end, even if you nail it later. Every failure makes the customer more picky and less eager to buy the thing out. Basically it means lots of extra work and no payment in the end.
It's like they have this certain idea about it in their head and if the painting looks different from it (even tho the people do look like they should), it sucks.

Even tho i do present the photocollages which I'm gonna use as my refs and they confirm them. I copy the ref collage and they want drastic changes. Then they say that they look nothing like that IRL and send a photo totally different from the last one .. GHAH

I'm ranting. I should close the acrylic shop for now. Or raise my prices to a unreasonable level and have noone order. And if they should I'd have no problem painting 3 different paintings on top of eachother, should the need arise.

But enough of the acrylics rant. The other commission is pretty different from anything i've done so far. It's a guy from Italy who contacted me via msn (he got from dA) and he wantsme to paint 2 characters from disney movie Rocketeer. A sort of an alternate movie ending concept.
Yay my first real money commission from abroad.

I'll need to get a website up sometime soon and maybe fish more of such little commissions. Keeps it fresh.

My hand is feeling a lot better than 2 days ago, i can use my right hands middle finger for typing too so it's easier to blab here (still cant hold a mouse or a pen tho).

Nevertheless, I'm gonna end it here. Maybe figure out my next collage work and eat an apple.
