Wonderful news!
Sometime in November I sold 3 quite large paintings at once, which added up quite a hefty sum compared to my regular smaller commissions.
That was an exciting moment in my "art career", it feels like a small promotion. I've made good money before but usually it's just for bigger specific commissions - these 3 paintings - the Heart/Action/Mind series are no commissions. These are 3 quite personal pieces, quite odd ones too. So these are pretty much the first bigger personal artworks that I sold to a total stranger.
And this month I got another rather similar email from another stranger, claiming to love my stuff and wanting some of that sugar.

So yea. That's awesome.
Works wonders on my motivation to finally get off my ass and keep doing some good ol weird Piggeye collages. Gonna finish 2 today. Or well.. the aging varnish is still arriving from Vunder but besides the final varnish they will be as good as done today.
 And I have plenty of more ideas for more works.
 I must not forget about my commissions too.. I have like 2 to finish this weekend.

For more transparency and keeping track and motivation I started a sales book where I record all my monthly artsy earnings (about time!). And Vitaly's. For a healthy competition. Can't wait till he starts to beat my scores - he's the actual talent in the family. Compared to his prowess I'm just a happy retard with edible crayons. Heheh.
We make a good team tho. In other news..
not much going on. Went to uncle's 50th juubel-party in nov, that was quite .. intense. Bathed Slava yesterday, was pretty intense too. I love that cat to obsession. Dat face.

And Oh Yeah. I went to the hairdressers a few days ago, to get a haircut. For the first time in my life ever!
Now I'm left with some weird middle-lenght-shortish symmetrical hair that looks "Soliidsem". I'm not sure how I feel about it but I am proud of myself for being so brave an make use of the free beauty salon gift cards I got for the summer wall mural project. And shorter hair is actually pretty nifty too - is all fluffy.m.
